ISA Jr. World Championship

They had the contest at the ISA Jr. World Championship again today. The waves were bigger but it was STORMY! it looked like the wind was blowing 30 mph onshore!

If i had to surf in that condition, i don’t think i could’ve caught a wave in 3 hours!

I don’t know how they think they can crown a World Jr Champion in this kind of condition. I think the ISA needs to have a waaaaay longer holding period so kids can surf in a decent condition. Even the webcast camera guys were having hard time finding the surfers out there!

They held the Under 18 division today. All the Hawaii guys didn’t advanced to the next round BUT they can actually win this by doing well in the Repercharge heats. So Hawaii can still take this thing! Go Hawaii!

Keanu Asing came 0.47 point short from advancing. that’s so close! maybe the judges didn’t see one of his turns like the webcast camera guys…

Like i said, the guys can still win this thing! Good luck Hawaii team!

Thanks ISA for posting the photos so fast for everyone in the world to use!
