Kewalos and to North Shore for an Annual Surf Night at Sunset Elementary

It was a looooooong day today. I picked up Joy, Jenna, Heidi and Josh in the morning and went to Kewalos for a surf session. the waves were GOOD! the rights were super nice and if you know me, you know i only go right so it was like a heaven for me! ha ha.

after surfing at Kewalos, kids and i went to North Shore.
Thanks Heidi for taking this photo! and yes, i haven't changed my windshield yet. thanks Zeke. ha ha.

We went to North Shore for an Annual Surf Night at Sunset Elementary school, but we got there too early so we stopped by Mahina's house to chill for a while.

While we were there, Mahina and Jenna went for a walk with my camera and they came back with some nice photos.

Sun was setting and it was time to go to Sunset Elementary!

This Surf Night thing is really cool. They do this as a fundraiser every year and tons of pro surfers show up to sign autographs and raffle out tons of prizes all night!

Looong line to meet tons of pro surfers!

This year, there were some CT surfers there making gorms stoked! Parko, Mic, Jordy, Bam, Barca, Powers to name a few!

and when i said tons of prizes, i mean tons of prizes! Surfboards, backpacks, huge banners, watches, etc. they were giving prizes out non stop all night for 3 hours!

it's always fun to win stuff!

Look, the girls even got a photo with Jason Shibata while waiting in the line. ha ha.

I want to thank Sunset Elementary for putting this event every year and all the sponsors for donating tons of goodies and all the pros who stayed there signing autographs all night on Friday night! It might seem like a nothing special to some people, but i know kids were stoked to meet and talk to pros they look up to. Thanks everyone!

I'll be posting a video from tonight as our new webisode! so check back again soon to watch the video!

No contest this weekend! finally i get to sleep in later than 5am on Saturday and Sunday!
