I went up to North Shore today and stopped by Billabong house. Tons of groms were there hanging out so i grabbed my camera and had some of them come out to shoot.
Waves were small but lining up nice and not many people out off we go!
In case you've never seen the underwater at Backdoor before, here it is. When the waves are huge, the waves break on about a foot of water. so where i was today, you don't want to be there when it's big. ha ha
Seth (Moniz) is been ripping. he actually made this turn and kept on going... and he's only 12.
Kyle (Galtes) was getting some mean airs and it was super shallow where he was punting. crazy guy.
Tanner (Hendrickson) was throwing his tail out on almost every turn.
Billabong house is so nice, you can chill where Sister is and see all the breaks. only if i had $8 million or so sitting around... ha ha.
When i first got there, i was kindda worried cuz i thought the waves were too small to get any shots but good thing these kids are good. made my job easy. Thanks guys!
This weekend is NSSA contest at Sunset beach! I'll see you all there!
