It's October and we still got some waves in town!

it's october and we are still getting some waves in town so woke up early and met up with derek to go shoot since he got some new sponsors.

original plan was to meet at 730am, i actually woke up and was on schedule but this time derek was running late. so by the time he found a parking it was almost 830am... shiiiit.

ok, off to work!!

the weather was great and waves were little inconsistent but still fun!

we had to make sure we get at least one good shot of derek's board with his new sponsors stickers showing. i think we got one!! sweet!

i always like this angle. it looks so peaceful. here's gary, one of the regulars at the spot!

derek had school so he left his board with me and i came home for a nap since i only got 1 hr of sleep last night. i ended up watching the Billabong Pro Mundaka all night...

derek woke me up from my nice nap and we met up at kewalos. it was going off over there, geoff (derek's brother), dana (geoff's girlfriend), moniz kids and apo family were all there too.

this is what happens when i show up with a cooler full of soda, juice, and water. they just cruz on my car drinking all my stuff... ha ha

dana just got her new longboard from darren tatsuno. she's super stoked!

nahe (apo) found a fish hanging out right by the pier and checking out that thing with her mom, jen. nahe catches little fish with a cup all the time at kewalos. i don't think i can catch any fish even with a bucket!

i went out for a quick photo session right before the sunset thinking i can shoot for at least 30min but there was a cloud on the horizon and i only got to shoot for about 15min... next time, i need to do all my chit chatting AFTER shooting and not before. ha ha

at least i got some nice rainbow shots of dana!

and the sunset (well more like the sun dissapearing behind the clouds...)

tomorrow's a NSSA contest at sunset beach. i know the waves are gonna be small but it should be fun!
