The waves been so good this past 2 days, kids were all over surfing all day long!
This morning, i met up with Nick Mita, Gregg Namakura, Brice Yamashita, Kaito Kino, Kylen Yamakawa, and Cole Yamakawa at Diamond Head.
Nick and Gregg hold secret BUI contests a few times a year for their friends and selected groms for fun. It's a fun event where groms can compete against some pro surfers! They were going to hold it today, but this first south swell of the season was so good we all decided it's better to go for a free surf session!
The condition at Diamond Head wasn't that great, so we all went over to Ala Moana Beach Park to find the best place to surf.

After Big Rights, Kaito and I went to Kewalos to meet up with Zeke Lau. This is Kaito's 3rd session since he was surfing at Diamond Head before we met up this morning.

While we were taking a break, the wind switched and we knew Bowls was going to be good. We drove down there in record time and we were right, Bowls was good! It was a barrel session for everyone!

What a day! Morning to night, surf was so much fun and the weather was perfect!
I can't believe Kaito surfed 4 sessions totaling over 8 hours today!
I think i'm going to take a break and stay away from the sun tomorrow... even with sunblock on, my face is little burnt.
