It was the 2nd and final day of Rell Sunn's Menehune contest at Makaha. We all got there super early again for a long fun day.
the first thing Kylie had to do when we got there was... beach cleanup! that's right, yesterday she left rubbish in my car so she had to clean up the beach before she can jump in the water to join her friends.
she wasn't happy about it specially at 6am but she did good! the beach looked really nice after. i bet if everyone started making kids cleanup beaches for leaving rubbish in cars, our beaches will be super clean! ha ha.
We had Sierra Larsen and her mom (from Maui) hanging out with us in the tent all weekend. it's always nice to meet new people, specially nice people like them.
i've met them before but spending 12 hours a day 2 days straight made all of us lot closer. all the girls are bff now.
Makaha got suck a nice beach kids were playing in the water between their heats all weekend. when i jumped in the water with them, they were attacking and jumping on me all at the same time so i had to fight back. it's not child abuse if it's self defense, right? ha ha
it was a long weekend of surfing, abusing kids, being abused by kids, fun weekend. ha ha.
look at these cute little ones. they were all surfing good all weekend!
