well, we finally got some waves! (9-5-08) fun size swell in town so i called up darren tatsuno (shaper, rlm team manager) and set up a photo shoot with his riders at Big Rights. alisha (gonsalves) was hanging out with alyssa so it was perfect time for me to get some shots of her too!
missy (valdez) and kat joined us too!
i was supposed to shoot barack (mohr) too but he had school and we took too long to get out there... so by the time we were paddling out, he was paddling in. shiiiiit. i'll get you later barack.
time to surf! fun size waves everywhere!

nick mita paddled out. he's a crazy guy. he got dislocated ribs right now and he was hurting every time he paddled but still busting moves like this!
and mr. darren tatsuno! i love it when a shaper can surf well, and darren can surf!
i think this was darren's way of telling me it's lunch time. going vertical, 12 o'clock! ha ha
when we came in darren had a surprise for me, a brand spanking new board shaped for me!! thanks darren! i owe you one!
he even hooked me up with this new fin system by ratio fins from japan. i don't think these thing are even out in the market yet! these things are SICK! no screws, they just snap in.

super fun day so far! some people went to school, some went to work, and alyssa, alisha and i went to lunch and off to bowls.
