There's never a dull moment when i'm with bunch of surfer kids. Today was no difference. I went to AIDS walk in the morning and met up with Kelia "Sister" Moniz, Jenna Forti, Joy Haynes and Rip Curl team.
Kylen and Cole Yamakawa were their helping out at their sponsor, Shark energy drinks, tent when we got there.
We did our walk and were just chilling and one of Novus Swell fans, Keahi, stopped me to say "hi"!

After the AIDS walk, we all met up at Kewalos thinking there will be some waves. well, there were "some" waves but they weren't great... the tide was low exposing reefs at Ala Moana Beach Park, so we decided to go for a little lifestyle photo shoot. well, it was more like Ezekiel "Zeke" Lau wanted a "cool" shot. ha ha.

Did i say there's never a dull moment? while i was shooting Zeke, everyone was laughing telling me i need to go over there. i get there and this is what i saw. let me introduce you to the sexiest male model in the world, Kylen Yamakawa. ha ha.
Then, while i was shooting Kylen, Derek Wong was laughing out super loud pointing at something. So i go there to see what's going on... this is what i saw. Wow, Kaito Kino lost his trunks!
We all thought that was so funny, other's jumped in and had a naked surfers group photo session. Cole, Kaito, John Quizon, & Kylen.

Jenna was ready for some photos, so here we were being serious trying to get some good shots.

not even 2 minutes into our "serious" photo shoot... Seth found a sea cucumber and thought it'll be funny to scare Jenna. look how he's holding the sea cumber! Naughty boy, Seth!
After a while Zeke was getting all jealous that i wasn't taking any photos of him. ha ha.
How am i supposed to shoot when he's keeping falling off the reef? he's an amazing surfer but can't even stand still on a reef! ha ha.
it's so hard to get ANY photos of Zeke smiling cuz as soon as i point the camera at him, he tries to look all tough. I got some smiling photos today tho! ha ha.
I wanted to get a group photo so i made everyone come up on the reef...
but they are surfer kids, they never listen to me, specially when they see a decent wave outside! some kids just kept walking and ended up going out to surf! so much for a big group photo. ha ha.while i was shooting Zeke, this "gangstah" group was free styling making up some funny raps. ha ha.
Finally got everyone (except for the ones who took off to surf) together!
looking at these photos, i know you were thinking "nice, that must've been a quick group photo session". well, NO!! They were moving around, yelling at each other, and not listening to me AT ALL. I took like 40 group photos and there were only a few shots everyone's kindda looking at the camera! like i said, there's never a dull moment with these kids. ha ha.
we went for a surf session after since the tide was getting higher and the waves were getting decent.
another great day, i love my job!
