Xmas (Christmas) Surfing!

Today i got a bunch of groms and went for a Xmas surfing at Haleiwa!

The wind was strong onshore and the waves were all over the place and it was cold! well, like in the high 60s... i know, i know, it might not be cold to many of you who live elsewhere, but to us here in Hawaii, that's FREEZING cold!

I want to thank all the kids for paddling out and surfing in the not so ideal condition. They didn't complain at all and were out there surfing!

I bought candies and ICE cold drinks (I thought it was going to be sunny and hot... ha ha.)

After our Xmas surf session, Bailey, Jenna, Joy, Kelly and Mahina ended up hanging out with me all day.

Stopped by Ted's bakery at Sunset for some food. This place is a must stop for anyone driving through North Shore!

Ted's got the best pies, cakes, plate lunch, burgers, sandwiches, and pretty much everything for your tummy. and during the season, all the pros come here to eat too!

These girls got so much energy it's hard for me to keep up, so sometimes I throw them in a cage to keep them from running away from me! Ha ha.

We decided to go to Waimea for a bodysurf session. When we got there a place to park was hard to find, but no worries, i have my troops! The girls got out of my car and asked everyone who's walking in the parking lot if they were leaving.

Sure enough within a minute they got a space! so they were standing there saving me a space while i come around the parking lot. BUT these 2 A-holes decided they NEED to get that space and try to RUN OVER the girls while yelling at the girls stuff i can't even put on this site!

THESE GUYS! If you ever see them around, RUN THEM OVER! They tried to run over our girls!

I know some tourists complain how some locals are mean, but when you act like a-holes like these guys, they deserve some poundings.

We found a parking space and we were still pretty upset at the guys. BUT good things happen to good people like us!

North Shore's best ice cream from Lickety Split! Jerry is a judge for all the important surf contests here in Hawaii including NSSA. When he's not busy judging, he's making everyone happy cruzing in this truck! If you see this truck around, STOP HIM and give yourself a treat and try out Lickety Split, everyone who lives here has!

Thanks to Lickety Split and Jerry, we were in great mood again to enjoy our day at the beach!

Super fun bodysurfing session! I thought we were done for the day but the girls weren't done. We went back to Haleiwa and they surfed till dark! Do these kids ever get tired?? cuz i was exhausted just driving to North Shore. ha ha.

Crappy weather all day but another amazing day here in Hawaii! Like i said, i'll be posting a webisode video from today on Tuesday!

Tomorrow is a HSA contest at Makaha! Gotta wake up in 3 hours... i better go get some sleep!
