loooong day!

It was a loooooong day! I woke up early and drove up to North Shore, picked up Mahina (yes, another furlough day for the kids!) and went to Rockys for a session. The waves were super nice! Lefts were little smaller (2-4 ft Hawaiian) and the rights were going off (3-5ft Hawaiian)!!

After that, we went to Coco's house to congratulate her on her amazing season and dropped off a CD from Connor (the guy who wrote Coco Ho, Original Love Song. If you haven't heard it, check out the profile i did on Coco on Novus Swell!). Connor recorded a cd and sent a couple of them to me and wanted me to give one to Coco. So Connor, if you are reading this, Coco got your cd! i'll post a little clip from it soon!

ate lunch and off to Ehukai beach park. the waves were lot smaller but still super fun for the groms!

I ran into a guy name Christian who had a cool idea!
That's right, a watch glassed into a board! He said, he doesn't like surfing with a watch on but he usually surfs before work and needs to know the time. i thought it was very clever.

Pipe Maters was on earlier today and i saw a very cool thing!
Beach Access Surface by AccesSurf! they started doing this at Triple Crown events few years ago and i think it's awesome. now people on wheel chairs can come and check out the events!

After Ehukai beach, i rushed back to town for a dinner and games night with the BayVI crew at David and Busters!
We were having so much fun, we ended up staying there till midnight! Thanks BayVI crew for a fun night!

oh, and what ever you do, don't challenge Leila (one of BayVI's owners) for a game of Daytona USA (it's the driving game on the photo)! She is sooo good! she's so good, she was lapping us doing perfect drifts around turns!

and before i go... more fisheye lens fun!
Makana Peng after multiple barrel rides at the sand bars!
Ocean Tsutsui

Another amazing day, but i'm so tired. i think it's time for me to go to bed. i'll see you all tomorrow!
