Pupukea was the place to surf today for the groms. it was super fun but not many people out!
After they surfed for hours, they came in and started playing with woods and coconuts washed up on the beach from last week's swell.
Poor man's Indo Board. ha ha. (John Quizon, Mahina Maeda, and Takumi Yasui)
They found a tennis ball and it was time for little baseball with random wooden sticks!
Good thing they surf, cuz they sucked at baseball! ha ha.
And it was time to crack open some coconuts.
Mahina was working on this one for a looooong time!
Finally got it! It looked nasty but still smelt really good!
oh, and see those fins on the sand? The kids found them in the water! They were saying there were at least 8 fins out there. So they picked the matching brand, and sizes (couldn't find the matching color i guess) and brought them in! they scored!!
So if you are in need of fins, go to pupukea and swim out there with your goggles! ha ha.
Reef Tsutsui came out when we were about to leave. so i got to collect more of these fun shots! YES, the fisheye lens fun! ha ha.
Reef Tsutsui!
John Quizon!
Takumi Yasui
If i haven't taken your fisheye lens photos, you better watch out! ha ha.
I'm thinking about doing a Xmas surfing this Friday since kids got another furlough Friday again. So if you want to be a part of it, keep that morning open please! I'll check the swell and let you all know where i want to do this soon!
