Today was Derek Wong's birthday. Can't believe he's 20 now. when i first met him, he was a little grom who wouldn't say more than 5 words on our drive up to the north shore from town! Now he's in college, working, and still ripping at surfing!

Sister (Kelia Moniz) picked me up so i can drink at Derek's birthday dinner. Can you believe that? She's driving now! Feel like it was just yesterday when i let her drive my car and didn't even know how to turn on the turn signal! ha ha.
Don't try to race her if you see her driving. she's all business!

Nah, nah. She's a really good driver. If i didn't feel safe, i wouldn't be taking pictures. come on, she had the best guy in Hawaii teaching her how to drive, ME!

Derek's 20, Sister's almost 17, and now i'm teaching Zeke how to drive. it's so cool to see everyone grow up but it sure makes me feel really old...
