it was supposed to be an easy fun trip to Tracks but thanks to Matty Costa, it turned into an adventure.

Kylen Yamakawa picked up his bro Cole and Jenna Forti from school and drove over to my house to meet up with me and Derek Wong.

Packed up my van and we were off!

I told them to take some photos and these are what i got.

Cole in the 3rd row by himself... who knows what he was doing back there.

While we were on our way to Tracks, Matty called us and pretty much begged us to come pick him up. How can i say no to Mr. comedian, Matty boy.
After we got Matty, he claimed he knows a shortcut to Tracks. So we took the "shortcut" that ended up being a looooooooong way. It took us forever to get to Tracks. Cole was passed out in the back and everyone was mad at Matty. i was ready to leave him on the side of the road but i had no idea where i was so i had to keep him around. ha ha.

Lot of kids were already there. EJ Mitsui, Keanu and Mike Ikalani, and Elijah Gates.

Even Shun Murakami was there! I did his profile about 1.5 years ago. super cool talented kid from Japan.

The water was clean now and the waves were firing!

I ended up filming the whole time. Good thing i brought my board tho cuz Kylen broke his board 10 minutes into his session. so if anyone out there want a broken board, hit Kulen up. It's still new, only ridden 3 sessions and 10 minutes of 4th session. still looks great except it's in 2 pieces. ha ha.

They all stayed out there till dark. super fun session at Tracks!

When i was trowing some rubbish away, i saw this sign.
ooops. so guys, if you start growing 3rd arm, you know why. ha ha.

they were all stoked they got to surf some fun waves and didn't look like they got sick from the water.
Took some Matty's other shortcuts to go get some food and actually this time his shortcuts really were shortcuts. ha ha.

Never a dull moment with bunch of funny kids. Tomorrow should be another great day. looks like there are gonna be waves everywhere. Not sure where i'm going tomorrow but i'll be surfing or filming somewhere. see you if i see you!
