the boys were having a contest as always. $5 to enter and finalists make some money!! here they are, organizing the contest and collecting entry fees.
alyssa and sister are always so much fun to shoot, specially lifestyle shots. i just tell them to have fun and that's exactly what they do, have fun!
sister found a guy with a VW bug and asked the guy to let us use it for the shoot.
it was a super hot day so we were off to the shower to cool off. well, them to cool off. i was dripping sweat at this point...
they discovered some nasty looking mud by the shower.
sister started attacking alyssa with the nasty mud. this thing smelt sooo bad!
payback time! ha ha
after the mud war, they were best friends again.
after working hard (more like just being themselves... ha ha) it was time to surf.

when the tide is high, kids always jump off the pier into the water. here's zeke doing a front flip. looked cool but not too stylish...

i followed them out with my camera. around this time of the year the sun hits one of many buildings in town and gives this crazy lighting. only thing is, it only lasts about 15 minutes so i was trying to get some shots in a hurry.

i must have the worst luck in the world... as soon as i get out there, the sun got covered up by some clouds... like i said, i only got about 15 minutes. shiiiit.
i managed to get a shot of sister with this crazy lighting tho. not the best shot but you can totally see how she's all lit up.
everyone was ripping as always! alessa doing her thing. too bad the sun was behind the clouds for this one... imagine this shot with that crazy lighting. shiiiit.
i'm having a great labor day weekend so far!
