this weekend was "The Sea Hawaii Girls Who Surf Pro-Am" at kewalos for girls. this is the reason why i came back from cali on friday night. girls were ripping!
asp jr pro division was the one to watch! i'll be stoked if i could surf half as well as these girls 'cuz they are sooo good.
girls were having fun especially without boys chasing them around all day like they do on other contests. ha ha

here's alessa doing her thing. she finished 2nd in jr. pro division. it was such a close heat between alessa and carissa (moore) no one knew for sure until the award ceremony.
carissa had an amazing weekend! i think she won every division she entered. jr. pro, open pro, longboard, and expression session. maybe more but like i said, she won everything! congrats carissa!
geoff and dana stopped by to check out the contest and surf. i thought dana was flipping me off at first but i found out she got a broken finger now. it's not stopping her from surfing tho. hope that thing heals up fast!
after the contest i went over to my spot and surfed rest of the day. it was windy but still tons of fun. i need to practice so i don't look like a kook when i surf with these girls from the contest! ha ha
