wow, Kelly does it again! another win for him and the world title #10 is looking really close. i was talking to Sister (Kelia Moniz) today and i've decided that i can still become a world champion surfer. if Kelly can do it at age 38, i have 3 years to get that good and get my title. ha ha.

So i've been checking out new features on my iPhone 4 and one thing i really like is HDR on the camera.
what it does is take 3 photos really quick. one over exposed, one normal, and one under expose. the iPhone automatically put 3 photos together to get better photo.
here's a photo without HDR. see how everyone but Zeke are in the shade and can't see them that well?
Here's a photo with HDR. Now you can see everyone! only thing is since it takes 3 photos, if the subjects move, you get the ghost effect, like Zeke's leg.
i'm liking this a lot tho. i used to take a photo, open it on an app, fix the exposure and post the photo.

so this HDR feature alone will save me some time!
Oh, before i go... KOA TREE FOUNDATION Sandy's event is CANCELLED. so only contest this weekend is North Shore Menehune contest.
but looks like it might be flat as a lake this weekend up in Haleiwa, so i'll keep you posted if anything changes.
