HSA update

Due to permit conflict, NO Courts event this weekend. It has been moved to Queens on 24-25 of Sept.
If you entered to Courts event already, your entry is moved to Queens event.

Not bad

Not too bad in north shore today. Thought it'll be little better tho. Think town will be better so back to town later. Haha

Pretty fun!

It was pretty fun for the 1st north shore swell.

Waves in north shore

Got some fun size waves in North Shore today. Not bad for early Sept.

Yeah Keanu! Go kick some A$$!

Keanu Asing did amazing at the Quiksilver Pro trial. He made the final but came in close 2nd. They are only taking the winner into the main event...
But NO! Dane pulled out from the event and Keanu got in! That's right, Keanu's in a CT event at New York! The 1st CT event for him but i know it won't be the last the way he's been working hard. So stoked for Keanu.

Check it out, he got the 3rd heat against Ace Buchan.
Most likely the event will be on tomorrow at 7am EST, that means 1am over here in Hawaii. I'm all of Hawaii's young surfer's #1 fan so you know i'll be watching on my computer! http://quiksilverpro.com

I guess my sleeping schedule will be all messed up but who cares!

S3W34: South Swell of the Decade at Big Bowl

We got the south swell of the decade this past week. I don't remember the last time when waves broke outside of the red buoy. The red buoy were washed into the shore middle of the night when the swell peaked. The waves were too big for some kids but some of them were out there enjoying the rare big south swell. If you aren't familiar with Big Bowls, waves only break there when the waves are big. On normal swell, Big Bowls will break once every hour or so but on this swell Big Bowl was breaking even between sets.
