Kelia "Sister" Moniz is in the new music video by a Japanese artist. I can't believe how she's blowing up getting so much exposure these days. i'm so stoked for her and proud of her.

Kauai trip - Sky on Fire! - Nicole wins BIG!
i forgot to blog about how last part of our Kauai trip was so here it is.
i'm so used to having my own tent at contests, i was little worried BUT thanks at Tati's family, we had a tent! Thanks Weston-Webb family! The tent gave us shade when it was sunny and it sheltered us from pouring rain in the afternoon.
it was pouring rain when we packed up our van at the contest so we stopped at 7-11 to re pack everything later by the airport. it's never fun packing wet stuff.
a quick snack before we head to the airport.
some how we got to the airport super fast and had some extra time so we decided to gamble.
yes, we were gambling with rubbish. i wasn't sure if i should be happy winning or sad cuz i was just collecting rubbish. ha ha.
Today, went to a quick session at Kewalos. the weather was nuts! lightnings, thunders, and this crazy red sky!
I had a bet with Nicole. I bet her the her hair will be wet after her first wave... she was surfing good and didn't get her hair wet on her first wave. BOOOOOOO!!!!!
I lost a dollar. Nic, don't spend it all at one place now. ha ha.
The waves weren't that good but it's always fun surfing with these kids.
So over all, had a great day. now time for me to work!

S3W7: NSSA Hawaii at Pinetree Kauai
There was an NSSA Hawaii event at Pinetree in Kauai over the weekend. The waves were little tricky but everyone was ripping out there. Since it was the last event of the season before the Regional Championships, i flew over to Kauai to cover the event.
